Sometimes I see non-native English speakers using swear words.
I wonder if they know how bad these words are, or if they just think it's cool.
In English the F word is an extremely rude word.
Please don't use it.
Many Christians (and many non-christians too) find the F word offensive.
Just because you hear bad words in Hollywood movies doesn't mean that they are generally acceptable words.
Many Christians also don't like it when people use God's name carelessly.
For example, many people say 'Oh my God', or 'Jesus!' when they are surprised or angry instead of using the F word.
It's better to say 'Oh my gosh', or 'No way!' or something if you are surprised.
もし、あなたがびっくりしたときは、「Oh my gosh」か「No way!」
Another swear word in English is 'sh*t'. It's best to avoid it, although it's not nearly as strong as the F word.

His argument goes something like this:
I know that the Bible is true, and all other religions are false because the Bible says so and because if you deny that you can’t know anything for sure.
The Bible says that “the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge.” (Proverbs 1:7)
This means that without God you cannot know anything for sure.
How do you know what truth is?
Can you tell me one thing that you know for sure?
Could you be wrong about everything you know?
If you use your mind to determine that your reasoning is valid then that is circular reasoning and not valid.
You can’t even know that ‘the Matrix’ is not real (The movie where everything was an illusion).
But I know that everything is not an illusion, because the Bible is true.
You need to repent and trust in Jesus, and then you can have a foundation for true knowledge.

Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature.
So they have no excuse for not knowing God."

Schweitzer's Dangerous Discovery
Did you know about the amazing discovery of red blood cells and DNA in Tyrannosaurus dinosaur bones?
The blood was even soft and stretchy like toothpaste!
The dinosaur bones also smelled like dead bodies, and were not turned into rock.
Dr Mary Schweitzer made these discoveries a few years ago.
We know that blood and DNA cannot survive for more than a few thousand years.
The obvious conclusion is that the dinosaur bones are only thousands of years old and not millions of years old.
But because the secular scientists are sure that the dinosaur bones are millions of years old they say “Wow, blood can survive in fossils for millions of years!”
Why is Dr Schweitzer’s discovery “dangerous”?
The reason secular scientists think the discovery is dangerous is because it is evidence that biblical creation is true.
The Bible says that God made everything (including dinosaurs) just thousands of years ago.
This is in contrast to the millions of years taught by secular scientists.
The bones smell like death, contain blood and DNA because they are only a few thousand years old.
(By the way, all of the dinosaur bones found at Hell Creek smell like dead bodies).

Suffering 苦難
Why is there suffering in the world?
The reason that there is sickness, death, and suffering in the world is because we live in a Fallen Creation.
The Bible says that in the beginning God made everything perfect – no sin, no sickness, no tsunamis, no earthquakes, no death, no carnivores killing animals etc.
All animals and people were vegetarian.
Unfortunately, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and because of that Creation fell from its perfection and death and suffering came into the world. (See Genesis chapters 1 – 3.)
Romans 8:19-28
"The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Revelation 21:1-4
"Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”"

Social Problems in Japan
I
would like to look at some serious issues in Japan – but please don’t think
that I believe Japan is any worse than other countries. Most of these problems
are being seen in western nations too. In countries like the USA, and my home
country of New Zealand we have also been seeing an increase in serious violent
crimes. I really do love Japan, and just want to help Japanese.
Japan has one of the highest rates of suicide in the world, and the incidence of child suicides has been increasing. There are a large number of ‘shut-ins’. An increasing number of young Japanese women are suffering from eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia. Serious youth crime has been increasing. School bullying is becoming an increasing problem. The question is – why?

I believe that the reason for these societal problems is related to the teaching of evolution. If you teach children that they are just animals, then why be surprised when they act like animals? If you teach children that life is an evolutionary struggle of ‘survival of the fittest’ then why be surprised when they bully, murder, steal, cheat, and lie?

The teaching of evolution is not just something that is being done at school. It starts from a young age with strongly evolutionary programs like Pokemon – where creatures are constantly evolving and changing into other creatures.

Evolution and millions of years is also taught through nature documentaries like NHKs ‘Darwin Came’ program (http://www.nhk.or.jp/darwin/). When I lived in Japan and saw that TV program I always got a bit upset and said, “It’s not Darwin’s world! It’s God’s world! God made all the animals, not Darwin!”

Darwin’s theory isn’t true. The truth is that God made us. We are special. We aren’t just evolved animals. Knowing this makes a big difference and is a big part of the solution to the problems we see in Japan and in the world today.

Secular Humanism
Have
you heard of secular humanism? Did you know that nearly all Japanese are ‘secular
humanists’? (Although they may not realise this).
Most Japanese people say that they are not ‘religious’, however secular humanism is actually a kind of religion! It’s an atheistic religion!
Secular humanism is a belief system or worldview. Many secular humanists are atheists or agnostics. But you can also be a Shinto Secular humanist, or a Buddhist Secular humanist.
Secular humanism basically is the belief that the Bible or any other religious book cannot be trusted, and that mankind must trust in himself and trust in science above all things to tell us about life and the origins of mankind and the universe.
Secular humanism is linked to evolution, the Big Bang theory, and millions of years belief, which are often presented as proven facts, however the truth is that they are not true. In America especially, and other nations too, there is an ideological culture war going on between secular humanism and biblical Christianity.

Spring 春
It's spring in New Zealand now, and today is a beautiful day. I took this photo near my house. I live in the outer suburbs so there is a lot of bush, nice flowers, and native birds. I'm happy to see God's beautiful Creation.

San-ai = Trinity Love
San-ai = Trinity Love
I took this photo in Hokkaido of the sign on the rock. The sign says " Panorama no michi, San-ai no oka, Biei machi." (Panoramic route, 3-love hill, Biei town)
I don't know the origins of the name but I believe there is a connection with the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit, and the love that they have for us.
