Now imagine someone came up to you and said, “I don’t believe in words.”

You’d think that he was a fool.

You wouldn’t pull out a dictionary and give him evidence.

And you wouldn’t believe him.

Somebody comes up to you and says, “I don’t believe in God” we don’t think they’re a fool, we give them evidence, and we believe them, when the Bible calls them fools.
誰かがあなたの所に来て、「私は神様を信じない」と言いう。我々は、彼らが馬鹿だとは思わない、我々は彼らに証拠を見せ、彼らを信じます。しかし、聖書は彼ら愚か者と呼びます。
Something has gone wrong. 何かが間違ってしまった。
“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. And since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen being understood from what has been made so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise they became fools.” (Romans 1:18-22)

Sye: Now, according to that verse, who needs proof that God exists?

Sye: You don’t think I’m bringing them to Christ? I think I’m exposing the folly of denying Christ.
